New Bus Route Proposed for Hamilton
The BUSIT team are planning a new bus service to link the west and east of Hamilton, launching next year.
The service will replace the 2 Silverdale and 8 Frankton buses and will be:
- Frequent - running every 15 minutes weekdays
- Direct - no more needing to change buses
- Linking key destinations – from HBHS, students will be able to get to Silverdale, Hamilton East, the CBD, Frankton, Dinsdale, Nawton and the Rotokauri Rise areas, all without having to change buses
The route is currently out for public consultation – if your son is a bus user, have a look, and please take the time to provide feedback.
