A Message from BUSIT

From Monday 21 February, the Hamilton BUSIT network will be running at reduced weekday capacity due to driver unavailability during the COVID-19 Omicron outbreak.

These reduced timetables will provide more certainty and reliability for passengers, while we navigate this challenging period.

  • The 4N, Orbiter, Comet and regional services (Raglan, Whatawhata and Huntly assist) will continue to run as normal.
  • All other Hamilton services weekday services are affected.

Any students who use the BUSIT network to travel to/from school, please visit our website: https://busit.co.nz/omicron to view our new timetables.

We will continue to communicate with passengers via notifications on the Transit App. This can be downloaded for free from the App Store or Google Play.

Please note the ‘real-time’ function of this app will be out-of-action while we work through a technical issue which will stop trips from displaying accurately.

For HBHS, we have identified the following trips which may affect the way your son/s get to/from school:

  • 13 University - The 8.09 from University to HBHS is cancelled.

Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in contact.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and are looking forward to returning to our usual service levels as/when we can.

Kind regards
Hamilton Transport Centre
